MTN supports Ada Asafotufiami festival

MTN has donated some assorted items and cash in support of the celebration of the Ada Asafotufiami festival held on Saturday, August 5.

In a speech by the Manager of the South East Business District, Kwasi Osei Hyeaman, he said the support from MTN over the past 16 years forms part of their quest to delight customers and make their lives a whole lot brighter.

He noted that as a friend to the traditional area, there is the need to reaffirm their relationship and lend their support to the people of Ada as they have done in the past years.

Kwasi Osei Hyeaman noted that MTN believes that through their support to the various traditional areas, they will help promote development in the communities, hence, the need to continually support the over 40 traditional councils across the country.

"As a friend of the traditional area, we have come to reaffirm our relationship and lend our support to the people of Ada as we have done in the past years. Today we have come to support the traditional council in revamping their cultural heritage after the devastating effect of COVID-19," he said.

He noted that to provide a distinct customer experience during the celebration, MTN was able to set up experience centres at vantage points to help customers with any issues they may have.

Mr Kwasi Osei Hyeaman noted that it is the hope of MTN to strengthen relationships with their customers through the festival and help resolve all the challenges they might have encountered.

"We hope that through this festival we will be able to strengthen our relationship with our customers in this area and help resolve some of the customer issues they have.

"In addition, we seek an opportunity to do some education on Momo fraud. We all have to help educate our cherished customers on the benefits of keeping their phones and wallets safe," he said.

He thanked the paramount chief of the Ada Traditional Area, Nene Kabu Abram Akuaku II, and his divisional chiefs for their continuous support and loyalty to the MTN brand.

A cash amount of GH¢15,000, airtime worth GH¢1000 and drink hampers were donated to the traditional area.
