The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah has on Monday, May 17, 2021, redeemed a campaign pledged she made to her Constituency with the donation of twenty-five (25) brand new motorcycles to the Kulaw ward in the East Gonja District of the Savannah Region.
The gesture, according to the MP, is in fulfilment of her 2019 parliamentary primaries promised to empower and resource members of the National Democratic Congress in all the branches to enable them to carry out their mandate and the party's day-to-day activities at the branch level.
The Member of Parliament who is in Parliament for the first time said there is no better time to revamp the party and initiate victory 2024 other than the present.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah added, "this donation is in line with preparations towards rebuilding and restructuring the NDC party towards election 2024. So all branch executives must work very hard and make good use of the motorbikes in order to deliver victory for the NDC in the next general elections".
The branch executives acknowledged the efforts by the MP to equip the grassroots and described the donation as one that would motivate the rank and file of the party to recapture power.

"This is the first time since 1992 that branches in the constituency are receiving much attention and I pledged on behalf of the grassroots, with a commitment to use the motorbikes to the advantage of the party and deliver both parliamentary and presidential election results in 2024," Mr. Gafaru Soale stated.

Another branch member, Madam Paulina Boogla noted, "you are a true woman and mother and your words are not empty because these motorcycles have said it all. But we also need to give attention to daughters' education so that tomorrow when we are gone, they can also stand in for us just like you today".

Meanwhile, the MP earlier on donated fifteen (15) motorbikes to the Konkomba ward with a promise to replicate it in other wards like Kafaba, Makango, Salaga and Kpembe.
