Family of one of the missing Tarkoradi girls has organized a solemn prayer session to mark a year since their daughter disappeared.
At the emotional and solemn commemorative event Sunday, the family prayed for one final divine intervention as police continue DNA analysis to ascertain if some human remains obtained from home of the prime suspect are those of the missing girls.
Father of Priscilla Blessing Bentum, who went missing exactly a year ago, has said he has resigned to believe his daughter has left for school and will soon return.
Mr Bentum told JoyNews’ Western Regional correspondent Ina-Thalia Quansah that it has been a tough period for him.
Priscilla Blessing Bentum’s mother also said anytime any individual and other groups come for a visit, it rekindles the agony all over again.
She said she is entrusting her hope in God for the safe return of her daughter.
Josephine Amo, leader of the Concerned Mothers Association told JoyNews that;
“We’ve decided that on this occasion we organize some prayer session for the family to inspire them to encourage them to give them hope that they should lift up their eyes unto the Lord so that the Lord will be their helper and one day Priscilla will come back home.”
“We are relying on the police and we are hoping that their results will not be the bodies of the missing girls,” she added.
