The 8th Parliament was officially dissolved on Monday, 6th January, paving the way for the commencement of the 9th Parliament.
During the dissolution, the Speaker of Parliament and the house's leadership delivered their closing remarks, reflecting on the achievements and challenges of the 8th Parliament.
Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minority Leader, also took the opportunity to share his thoughts and perspectives on the Parliament's tenure.
