Milo set to try fringe players against Angola

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is expected to give players on the fringes the chance to stake a claim in his team in Wednesday's international friendly against Angola at the Cidadela Stadium. The team arrived in Luanda on Tuesday morning without Captain Stephen Appiah and defender Samuel Inkoom who were excused due to pressing club issues. Also Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan opted out of the squad on Monday night. Duo Aziz Ansah and Mark Sekyere were handed late calls to join the team. The match was originally scheduled to open the national stadium but the venue was shifted because the project had not been completed. The Black Stars have lost two of their last three matches against Japan, and Benin. They drew with Mali in the final world cup qualifier and need a win against the Palancras Negras to restore confidence ahead of the Cup of Nations in two months time.
