Press Release
Passing Away Of Hon Baah Wiredu
The sad news of the sudden passing away of Hon. Kwadwo Baah Wiredu hit me really hard.
Mr. Baah Wiredu was a student of mine when he was studying for his first degree at the School of Administration, University of Ghana, and he was a very sharp student. I am not surprised he excelled wherever he found himself.
Indeed, the nation has lost somebody for whom I have the greatest respect and I pray that the good Lord will keep him in his bosom and find for him, a peaceful resting place.
It is sad that the nation could not tap the full potential of such a fine brain.
My heart goes out to the bereaved family, especially the widow and children, as well as the NPP family; I share in their grief and my thoughts are with them.
May the soul of Kwadwo Baah Wiredu rest in perfect peace.
John Evans Atta Mills
(NDC Leader & Presidential Candidate)
