All is set for the much-awaited Merqury Quaye Live concert in Ghana slated for Sunday, December 24 at the Laboma Beach Resort in Accra.
Sunday’s live concert comes after Merqury Quaye’s sold-out concert show at the same venue in March.
Organizers of the concert, Team Spirit Ghana and partner Merqury Republic are promising an indelible mark in the minds of more than 5,000 music lovers and enthusiasts who will throng the venue as Ghana cements its position as the hotspot of top-notch entertainment events.
Merqury is expected to perform his biggest hits including ‘Turn Up’ and ‘Discuss’ to his devoted fans and the audience cannot expect anything less than a swell time and an experience they would not forget in a hurry.
Although this will be Merqury’s second show at Laboma, having made his debut in March, the pending show will be his first to be held in December and also the first performance after producing the 11th edition of Africa’s Biggest DJ Event, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, which had Shatta Wale as the headline performer.
The ‘Discuss’ crooner will give the audience the opportunity to enjoy his music and songs from some of the hottest singers on the African music scene with a one-hour, non-stop DJ mix performance.
Other DJs billed to perform include DJ Lord, DJ Ikon, DJ Matic, DJ Spices, DJ Legend, DJ Toyor and DJ Fantastic.

Who is Merqury Quaye?
Merqury Quaye is a Ghanaian-born DJ, singer, MC, songwriter, radio/TV presenter, music producer and executive at Merqury Republic Productions and is known for his powerful stage presence and infectious voice on radio.
He began his musical career as a member of the Mec-Tang Clan, a group he formed with friends from his senior high school, later became a member of Media Shuttle Entertainment, a conglomerate of talented DJs and later started his production label, Five Mics Entertainment.
He went on to produce demos for promising acts including Jupita, OD4, Adam and recorded 3 songs on Tic Tac’s 1oth Day album.
Merqury Quaye has worked as a DJ or presenter with the biggest names on the media landscape in Ghana including Joy 99.7FM, Atlantis Radio 87.9FM and currently hosts the evening drive on Hitz 103.9FM, as well as the Hot Pics DJ show on Joy Prime TV.
He has also shared stage with many international artistes along the way, including Nas, Shaggy, Fat Joe, Akon, etc.
In 2012, Merqury Quaye founded the Ghana DJ Awards to promote and celebrate DJs. He also created an empowerment program for DJs known as Ghana DJ Clinic.
His advertising and event production firm, Merqury Republic hosts a number of events annually to empower and promote music talents in Ghana and beyond.
Merqury Quaye is a prominent figure in the African music scene and has been a pioneer in cultivating a love for DJs across the globe.
