The latest Ghanaian musician to see his work cross borders is rapper Medikal.
On Friday, February 11, 2022, one of Medical’s hit songs, 'Accra,' was played at an NBA game.
The game was between the Boston Celtics Denver Nuggets.
During a break, some cheerleaders who took to the court to entertain patrons danced to a medley of songs, including Accra by Medikal.
Taking to his social media pages, Medikal seemed excited to share with his fans this new milestone.

Some fans excited about the rapper's feat congratulated him, urging him to put in more work to ensure his music is recognised on the global stage.
"These are some of the things we want to see….promoting quality music and putting Ghana on the globe," one fan wrote.
