The fifth edition of the Ghana Football Awards was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus took home the biggest prize of the day as he was named the Footballer of the Year, inheriting the award won by Alexander Djiku during the 2022 edition.
The Ajax man beat competition from Black Stars teammates Joseph Paintsil and Salis Abdul Samed to win the award.
Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club, dominated the awards with the head coach, Evans Adotey, and CEO, Moses Armah, leading the charge.
The Mauves and Yellows also won the Male Team of the Year award.
In the Odartey Lamptey Future Star category, FC Nordsjaelland forward Ernest Nuamah emerged as the winner ahead of Black Princesses' skipper Stella Nyamaekye and Princess Owusua.
