Coach Bashir Hayford has been asked by the management of Medeama SC to proceed on leave.
The Tarkwa based club finished was part of the top 4 in last season’s league and is set to improve their performance this season and possibly clinch their first league title.
Hayford, a former Under-17 team coach, has come under intense pressure after losing his first league game of the season at home to Wa All Stars.
In his absence, assistant coach Yusif Abubakar will act as the head coach till further notice.
