Dazzling young blue boys of McDan Shipping beat formidable new entrants- Right to Dream Academy- to win Season Five of the Joy Sports Invitational Football Tournament.
It was a pulsating final which ended goalless in regulation time but it was Shipping who kept their nerves in the penalty shoot-out shattering the dreams of Right to dream Academy to win the trophy on their debut.
The blue boys were not the least overawed by a side that had ex-Black Stars skipper CK Ackunnor featuring, and they won 6-5 on penalties.
In the ladies division, the long held ambition by Multimedia ladies to win the penalty competition was once again dashed as they succumbed to Ghana Commercial Bank Ladies in an interesting penalty final.
Ghana Commercial again won the maiden unisex 4x4 relay competition to increase the trophy tally to two.
