Maxtachem, a leading manufacturer of cosmetic products, has recently been recognised by the presidency for its distinguished humanitarian service to the Ghanaian people.
The Presidential Award for humanitarian service is one of the highest recognitions a manufacturing company can receive outside of its core function.
The award read: "It is a testament to the persistence of Maxtachem Limited’s management team and the hard work and dedication of its employees, who have built a reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability. Their commitment to serving Ghanaians has allowed Maxtachem to become a leader for producing the Maxim Advanced Surface Sanitizer".
“We are honoured to be recognised by the President of Ghana [Nana Akufo-Addo] for our commitment to serve the Ghanaian people during unprecedented times,” said Eugene McQuaye, the Head of Marketing and Strategic Management.
“This award is a tribute to our employees and their dedication to excellence in everything they do. It is a testament to the strength of our team, our values as a business and our capacity to adapt and innovate.”
Maxtachem Limited has a long history of innovation and sustainability. It has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce their environmental impact and improve the sustainability of their manufacturing processes. Again, it has made a significant investment in research and development, bringing new products to market that have helped to transform the Cosmetic industry.
“We are proud of our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in manufacturing,” said Eugene McQuaye.
“This award is a reflection of that commitment, and it is an honour to be recognised by President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.”
The presidential award is given to companies that demonstrated continuous commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence during the covid-19 period.
