Assistant Headmaster of Mawuli Senior High School in Ho, Mr. Shadrach Abiwu, has complained that the institution is facing challenges with its transportation system.
He noted that the current school bus is in a deplorable state.
Mr. Abiwu told JoyNews in an interview on Monday, that government has done its best by providing the school with a bus. However, the limited number and the poor state of the vehicle makes it difficult to transport students for extra curricular activities.
"During the Maths and Science quiz competition, we carried just a few students in the long bus, which is not the best. We need a minibus in addition as well as another big one or two, to help the school," he said.
He further stated that available facilities are inadequate to house the growing population of the students.
To address the current situation, Mr Abiwu has therefore called on past students of the school to help mobilise resources to undertake some developmental projects.
