A man has been seriously injured in a shooting incident at Gwolu in the Upper West Region.
The man was shot in the chest and is currently receiving treatment at the Tumu Government Hospital.
The shooting is reported to have been triggered by a scuffle over a mobile phone.
The Upper West Regional Police Command has confirmed the shooting but said investigations are ongoing.
The injured man will be transferred to the regional hospital at Wa for further treatment.
