A 35-year-old unemployed man is helping the Winneba police in their investigations into the stealing of electrical cables in the town.
A police spokesman told newsmen at Winneba that after investigations the suspect, whose name is being withheld, would be prosecuted.
The spokesman said sometime this month the suspect was seen by some inhabitants of Obonoma area of the town during a black out and when questioned he said he was attending to nature's call in a nearby bush.
He said the following day it was found that the cement electricity pole at the site had been pulled down and electrical cables stolen.
The suspect had some wounds on his body.
