A 48 year-old former employee of the Ghana Textile Printing Company on Tuesday committed suicide by hanging himself at Tema Manhean.
Okoe Adjei, a father of four was found dead between 0930 and 1000 hours in his room hanging on a noose by his brother, Nii Armah Tetteh.
Mr Tetteh said the deceased, who was recuperating from sickness had good relationship with members of his immediate family and that he could not think of any major problem that could lead his brother to commit suicide.
Police reported at the suicide scene at 1100 hours and conveyed the body to the Tema General Hospital.
The Tema Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, Chief Inspector Yaw Nketia-Yeboah said investigations were being conducted into the death.
