Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a passionate appeal to residents of the Ashanti Region to make December 7 a day to remember by voting overwhelmingly for the NPP.
Speaking during his campaign tour in Adansi Asokwa in the Asante Region, Dr Opoku Prempeh emphasized the NPP’s unwavering commitment to developing the region makes them the ideal choice.
Adansi Asokwa remains a stronghold for the NPP and Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as part of their campaign tour, visited the community to engage with the people and key stakeholders.
Together with some party stalwarts, he called for support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who he noted is a leader with bold vision and solutions to take Ghana to the next level of development.
“The people of Adansi Asokwa, like all Ghanaians, deserve leadership that creates opportunities, sustains development, and secures a prosperous future. That is why they are committed to voting for Dr Bawumia as President and Hon. K.T. Hammond – the vintage K.T. Hammond to continue his dedicated service to the constituency.”
He urged various groups including traders, farmers, and professionals to prioritize voting on Election Day and stressed the importance of voting for the NPP.
Dr Opoku Prempeh confidently asserted that the NPP is the only party capable and willing to accelerate development in the region.
