There is a major shake-up in the Minority leadership in Parliament.
The current leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been changed on all fronts.
According to the party, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has taken over from Haruna Iddrisu as the new Minority Leader.
Some NDC legislators who are unhappy with the situation are already describing the development as a "coup d'etat".
Ellembelle MP, Kofi Armah Boah will replace James Klutse Avedzi as Deputy Minority Leader.
In a statement signed by NDC General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, Kwame Agbodza becomes the Chief Whip for the opposition side and will be deputised by Banda MP, Ahmed Ibrahim and Ada legislator, Comfort Doyo Ghansah respectively.
"The new leadership would be charged to recommend consequential changes in the Ranking membership to Headquarters of the party for approval," the party statement added.
The party, however, fell short of explaining the rationale behind the changes.
