In a historic moment for the African fragrance industry, Maison Yusif, Ghana’s first niche artisan fragrance house, launched nine new perfumes in a single day, becoming the first in Africa to achieve such a feat.
The grand event, held on Sunday, October 27, at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, showcased the brand’s creative brilliance and celebrated the craftsmanship rooted in Ghanaian culture.
This historic unveiling marks a new chapter in African perfumery, showcasing a rich blend of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship.

The nine unique perfumes, each carefully crafted to evoke emotion and reflect the beauty of culture, confidence, and adventure include The Black Excellence, The Voyager, The Empress, If Sex Was a Perfume, De Ja Vu, Tulaale, El Patron, Take Me To Paris Exclusif and Supernova.
The launch of nine fragrances in a single day is unprecedented for a niche fragrance house on the continent, signaling the brand’s ambition to make a lasting mark on the global stage.

Each fragrance captures a unique narrative, with scents that evoke nostalgia, adventure, romance, and empowerment. From bold and provocative aromas to blends reflecting Ghana’s vibrant traditions, the collection embodies sophistication, strength, and charisma.
Through this array, Maison Yusif demonstrates its ability to push boundaries, offering fragrances that reflect the spirit and diversity of Ghana while appealing to international tastes.

Founded by Yusif Meizongo Jnr., Maison Yusif celebrates both personal and national achievements.
Meizongo Jnr., the first West African to be certified by the International Perfume Foundation, has positioned himself as a pioneer in the regional fragrance industry.

With over 200 fragrances already crafted, the launch event reflects not just the artistry behind the brand but also its ambition to disrupt the global fragrance market.
A key element of Maison Yusif’s appeal lies in its authenticity. All the fragrances are developed entirely in Ghana, highlighting the use of local aromatic resources and the talents of Ghanaian artisans.

This focus on indigenous production strengthens the local economy and showcases the potential of Ghanaian craftsmanship on a global scale.
Maison Yusif’s perfumes will soon be available online and in select physical stores, ensuring accessibility for fragrance enthusiasts worldwide.
This accessibility aligns with the brand’s mission to represent Ghana on the global stage, offering luxury scents that blend cultural heritage with modern storytelling.

The launch event at the Marriott Hotel was more than just an introduction to new perfumes—it was a celebration of artistry, identity, and possibility.
