A 17-year-old maid servant resident at Old Tafo in Kumasi was on Tuesday found dead in her room under mysterious circumstances.
Dzifa Adi, who lived with one Kakraba Ben Komla, her cousin, is suspected to have committed suicide.
Komla in his statement to the police said the deceased was suspected to be pregnant at the time of her death.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr Andrews George Kumah, Asawasi District Police Commander, told the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi that the deceased on that day was in the house alone because her cousin and his wife went to work.
He said whiles they were at their workplaces they had a telephone call to get back to their house and when they got there they found the deceased hanging in their room.
