Black Satellites striker Mahatma Otoo is set to return to his former club Hearts of Oak after his new club Esperance failed to reach an agreement to sign the player on a permanent deal.
The Tunisian club pulled out of the transfer deal worth 500,000 euros but has agreed to pay Hearts 150,000 dollars for the 18-year-old to stay on loan at the club till December 31.
Otoo who was named best player in the Ghana Premier League last season will stay with Esperance for the rest of their Caf Champions League campaign.
Ashford Tettey Oku is the Administrative Manager of Hearts of Oak told Joy Sports Otoo will soon return to Hearts.
"We initially concluded negotiations for his permanent transfer to Esperance and that they will remit the amount into our account seven days after receipt of the ITC.
"Seven days elapsed and beyond things were not coming so we tried to find out. It was there that we learnt that they were having challenges.
“…We re-negotiated the terms for the first half of the Tunisian season. So effectively on the 31st of December he will come back,” he explained.
