Global shipping giant MAERSK Line says local importers and exporters should expect more efficiency and professionalism in its operations even as it commemorates its 20th year of operation in Ghana.
The company which claims leadership in the sea cargo transport business worldwide, says it has seen an incremental boost in its operations in Ghana since it entered the country in 1991.
Its General Manager in charge of Sales, Nii Klottey Odonkor tells Joy Business it currently controls nearly a third of the local sea cargo business.
He said in an economy that is import-driven the contribution of MAERSK should be appreciated.
Nii Klottey Odonkor however explains that the 20-year period of operation has not been without challenges.
