The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) says supplies of LPG would be normalised by Monday 15 March, 2010.
Private and commercial drivers are said to be roaming fuel stations in search of petrol and LPG following shortages which hit Accra and later extending to other parts of the country.
Earlier in the week officials at the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) blamed the shortage on what they said was a slight hitch with a pipeline receiver in Tema.
Public Relations Officer of the National Petroleum Authority, Yaro Kasambata, assured consumers that supplies will be restored latest by Monday.
Restoration of supplies is expected to ease the stress on the few fuel stations with LPG.
Long queues have formed at various gas stations with fuel, around the country, correspondents say.
Drivers in Kenyasi joined queues for weeks just to wait for their turn to refill.
