On a day dedicated to love and kindness, the Odadeɛ '96 Association showed the true meaning of Valentine's Day by making a life-changing donation to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital's Paediatrics Department.
The parents of three young patients, Sarah, Abdul, and Victoria, had been struggling to pay their bills at the ICU.
Two of them, a six-month-old baby and a five-year-old, both had hole-in-heart conditions and had been on life support for a period. The third child, an 11-year-old, was battling multiple infections.

That's when the Odadeɛ 96 Association stepped in, spreading love and kindness on Valentine's Day. The association presented a cheque of GH₵50,000 to cover the medical expenses of the three young patients.
The group also purchased a much-needed cardiac monitor for the Paediatrics Department at a cost of GH₵24,000 and replaced the visitor's bench, which was broken at the time of their visit.
The donation ceremony, held at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital aka Ridge Hospital, was attended by members of the Odadeɛ 96 Association, medical doctors from the Paediatrics Unit, and the families of the beneficiary children.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President of the Odadeɛ 96 Association emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, especially on a day like Valentine's Day.
"We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these young children and their families," said Mr Kofi Ansah.
"We hope that our donation will inspire others to show love and compassion to those in need."

The medical team at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital's Paediatrics Department expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Odadeɛ 96 Association for their kindness and generosity.
"This donation will go a long way in supporting our efforts to provide quality healthcare to our young patients," said Dr. Charlyne Kilba the Head of the Pediatrics Department.
As the Odadeɛ 96 Association's donation brings hope and relief to the families of Sarah, Abdul, and Victoria, it also serves as a reminder that love and kindness can change lives.
On this Valentine's Day, the Odadeɛ 96 Association has shown that love is not just a feeling, but a powerful force that can bring people together and make a real difference in the world.
