The National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urging members of the campaign team and other party activists to localise their campaign messages.
Sammi Awuku said it will be relevant to talk about development projects embarked on in individual constituencies than using development in a different constituency to campaign in another area.
"We should be able to link our people to the development in the various constituencies that have taken place since the NPP won political power in 2016.
"We have done a lot and I am sure as we keep engaging the people they will see what we have done."
Speaking during the inauguration of a 27 member campaign team in the Eastern Region chaired by Kingston Akumin Kissi, Mr Awuku was optimistic the NPP has done far better than the erstwhile Mahama administration and therefore deserves to be retained in office.
He urged the team to sensitise the people at the grassroots on developmental projects within their surroundings in order to appreciate the effort of the government.
"This campaign will be hinged on the fact that we have performed better in government, in fact far better than our opponent."
On his part, the former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko said he was confident the NPP will perform far better in the December 2020 elections in the Eastern Region than previously.
He said the party will capture the Asuogyamag, Adeiso, and Lower Manya Constituency seats which are currently being occupied by the NDC.
"We came from a deficit of 15,000 votes to a deficit of 327 in two elections. It is within our grasp.
"Asuogyaman goes back and forth and currently, it is within our grasp. It is the Afram Plains we seem to have some difficulties but even there I can tell you that the work we have done through the registration and the kind of work to follow gives me confidence that we will do very well and snatch those seats.
"The only challenge is changing from a very known mode of message delivery to a new mode of message delivery," he explained.
