Members of the Ghana Hoteliers Association are undergoing a two-day training programme on how to improve their standards.
Association President Herbert Acquaye has said most hotel owners tend to focus on their structures and facilities while paying very little attention to management.
He is also concerned that managers also often overlook supposedly minor incidents which in the long run adversely affect their operations.
According to Mr. Acquaye indigenous hotels need to step up their game as the oil find is attracting more international hotels.
