This Saturday's edition of JoyNews' Newsfile will explore two significant national issues.
The programme will first analyze the credibility of the provisional voter's register in light of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) calling for an audit due to alleged discrepancies.
The Electoral Commission, however, has dismissed the audit request, labelling it as "unnecessary."
The discussion will then shift to the ongoing battle against illegal mining, commonly referred to as galamsey.
Despite numerous efforts to combat this issue, illegal mining continues to pose serious threats to both the environment and the economy.
Additionally, the Democracy Hub has organised a three-day protest against the government over galamsey, which resulted in the arrest and remand of 53 protesters.
