President Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, March 9, delivered the State of the Nation Address (SONA).
This was the President's first State of the Nation Address for his second term of office.
The exercise was in accordance with the law which requires the President to deliver the address at the beginning of each session of Parliament and before the dissolution of Parliament.
According to sources, the call for national unity will feature prominently in the address.
Again, with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy and the vaccination roll-out plan, issues of health and health care delivery topped the list of things addressed.
Meanwhile, the presentation was not done in the chamber as has been the norm.
