The Greater Accra Regional Minister-designate, Linda Akweley Ocloo is the fastest nominee to complete the Parliamentary Appointments Committee's vetting so far.
The nominee breezed through her vetting on Tuesday, January 28 in record time.
The nominee was not asked any questions by the committee members.
Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin only indicated that the delegation that accompanied her is formidable and proves her competence to run the Ministry.
After that, Chairman, Bernard Ahiafo acknowledged the nominee's guests and discharged Linda.
In all, the Member of Parliament for Shai Osudoku spent less than 10 minutes before the committee.
If confirmed, she is expected to focus on urban development, youth empowerment, and strengthening public services in the region.
In contrast, Defence Minister-nominee, Omane Boamah who also appeared today stayed the longest today.
He was subjected to about 5-hours of grilling from the committee members.
