Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set for revenge as they welcome Liberty Professionals to the Baba Yara Stadium in the pick of the fourth round pairings of the Premier League.
The Dansoman-based club pipped the Porcupines to the Top 4 title before the start of this campaign, a setback that denied the premiership champions a clean sweep of every competition they entered in the 2007/2008 soccer season.
That 0-1 defeat in Kumasi still reverberates among their fans and ever since the premiership fixture threw up this pairing, they have never hidden their intention of having their own against them.
Tomorrow throws up that prospect and the Kotoko management will hope their fans turn up in their numbers at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to support the team to victory.
The team has made a promising start to the season picking up seven of a possible nine points from their three games, and will seek to extend that further with a home win against a Liberty side that have lost two of their three games.
Their only win came against Real Tamale United (RTU) in the last round and if they are to post another success, it would require an effort to upset the odds again as they did in the final of the Top 4 competition.
New entrants Berekum Chelsea will have-their credentials tested at Wa, where they play as guests of All Stars at the Wa stadium.
Chelsea are the surprise leaders at this stage with a 100 per cent record and among their victims have been Liberty and Hearts of Oak whom they dispatched with ease.
A fourth win in succession will not be too much considering their output so far. They face All Stars one of the early pacesetters and it would require something more than what they produced in beating Liberty and Hearts to overcome the home side at Wa.
Like Kotoko, All Stars have shown enough promise to go all out this season, and they will not come easy for any team especially in their own backyard.
Another fierce encounter will unfold at the Kpando Park where Hearts of Lions welcome King Faisal. Lions won this fixture 1-0 last season and will be seeking a similar result, but Faisal are an improved lot this term and will not go down without a fight.
Tema Youth will be expected to collect all three points as they return to the Tema Park to welcome Sekondi Hasaacas. The home side were in impressive form in winning 1-0 at Obuasi against AshGold in the last round, and should not have difficulty in piping the helpless Sekondi side.
Hearts of Oak will on Monday put their disappointing performance at Sunyani behind them as they host Kessben FC in Accra. The away side were not convincing on their travels last season, and should not cause the Phobians any harm.
The 46-match unbeaten home run of Arsenal should stay intact at the 'Goldcn City' Park in Berekum as they welcome All Blacks. The Black Magicians have been a disappointing lot this term and must lift their game if they are to avoid the drop even at this early stage.
Sporting Mirren are the only side still to score a point and the prospects of them picking one are not good as they trek to Tamale to face RTU. The Temale boys are that formidable at home and are favourites to win this one.
Eleven Wise host AshGold at the Sekondi Stadium at Essipong and will seek to protect their two-match unbeaten run against a side that has lost its last two games.
