Leicester City forward Joe Dodoo trained with the Black Stars on Tuesday ahead of their AFCON qualifier with Mauritius.
The Ghanaian born frontman is yet to complete his nationality switch to Ghana after playing for England’s national U-18 side in March 2013.
The 20-year-old was invited to familiarize with the national team ahead of his nationality switch.
Ghana must now go through FIFA’s nationality switch process to make the forward eligible to play for the Black Stars.
The youngster has however initiated the move waiting the English FA’s approval.
Dodoo will join players such as Kevin Prince Boaeteng, Adam Larsen Kwarase, Hans Adu Sarpei, Jeffrey Schlupp and Quincy Owusu Abeyie who opted to play for Ghana after having a dual nationality.
