Ghana's premier University, the University of Ghana, Legon, has been exempted from the list of universities in the world, whose graduates qualify for new UK visas.
In a release on the official government website of the United Kingdom (UK), the University of Ghana and a host of other leading tertiary institutions in the country were not included.
In this regard, graduates from schools such as the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the University of Cape Coast, and other top-flight Ghanaians Universities will not be able to access the new UK visa for graduates.
Meanwhile, globally acclaimed universities like Harvard University were included in the list.
