Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyekum made his debut in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League over the weekend for Cercle Brugge.
The former WAFA talent lasted the entire duration of the game as Brugge suffered a heavy defeat on the opening of the Belgian top flight.
Agyekum started as part of a midfield trio which also included Black Stars midfielder Abu Francis on Sunday, July 28.
The 20-year-old joined Cercle Brugge during the summer transfer window in a loan deal from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.
Agyekum is one of 11 Ghanaian players who will be gracing the Belgian league this season.
Prior to the weekend, he made his European debut as he came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock in the Europa League qualifiers.
