An 89th minute goal scored by enterprising Ekow Benson enabled Tema Youth to beat Accra Great Olympics 1-0 in their 16th Week GT Onetouch Premier League match played at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.
It was Tema Youth who fired the first shot in the fifth minute after FIFA Referee Vivian Aggor had signaled both teams into action, but failed to score as Stephen Aryee's low grounder missed the target.
Oly came into the picture and earned two corner-kicks in the 18th and 21st minutes but failed to utilize both.
Determined to break the stalemate, both teams resumed the second session with greater determination but failed to utilize the number of scoring chances that came their way till Benson's strike.
Ahmed Lamin of Tema Youth, who played a good game, was adjudged the best player of the match.
