A fitness trainer is calling on Ghanaians to join the ranks of developed and health conscious countries to formulate national health and fitness goals and objectives.
According to Godson Lamptey, CEO of Mojo Group of Gyms, a national orientation towards fitness has contributed massively to the development of a lot of countries including the United States, China, and Japan among others.
“Though it might take a while for some to come to terms with this, countries like the US, China, Japan have developed because they have built a unified sense of purpose through physical and spiritual exercises, and I have no doubt that Ghana can do same,” he said.
He says Ghanaians will be healthier when they exercise consciously and that will spill over to the growth of the economy and their intellect.
Godson Lamptey, popularly known as Mojo, was speaking in an interview with Focus FM in Kumasi.
He also cautioned Ghanaians to avoid developing destructive habits like alcohol and drug abuse as well as unsafe sex.
