Ghana's Premier five star hotel, Labadi Beach Hotel has been adjudged for the 3rd consecutive time the Best Events Hotel of the Year at the just ended 3rd edition of the 2021 Ghana Event Industry Conference (GEIC) Gala and Awards night held in Accra.
The prestigious award was in recognition of the company's dedication and commitment to building the events industry as well as being a highly respected advocate for best practices in the tourism sector.
Speaking to the media after receiving the award, Executive Assistant Manager of the Hotel, David Eduaful
expressed gratitude to the Board and management of the hotel, staff, and clients for always patronizing them.
"We are very grateful to God and the organizers of this wonderful event for the honor. Personally, I least expected it. We say a very big thank you to our management team, staff and clients for always making us number one", he said.
David Eduaful took the opportunity to urge government to keep investing in the hospitality sector to ensure proper standards in all aspects.

This year's Ghana Event Industry Conference (GEIC) organized by the Event Vendors Association of Ghana (EVAG) was on the theme "Resilience, Rethink, Redefine and Recreate".
It is a platform created for operators in the events industry to pull resources from each other and also promote high level of ethics within the sector while holding management to high standards.
The event was filled with fun and excitement as guests enjoyed amazing performances from the Kojo Antwi, Kuame Eugene, Adina and Kamido.
The Labadi Beach Hotel is set amidst the tropical landscape gardens in Accra and in close proximity of 10 minutes drive to the Kotoka International Airport and 15 minutes drive to the Central Business District.
