Ghana’s top five-star destination, Labadi Beach Hotel, proudly announced a milestone dividend payment of GH¢16,509,000 to its shareholder, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), at its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM). This remarkable achievement underscores the hotel’s unwavering commitment to excellence and solidifies its position as the flagship of Ghana’s hospitality industry.
“Our success reflects our dedication to delivering unparalleled experiences and value to our stakeholders,” said Mr. David Eduaful, Managing Director of Labadi Beach Hotel and the CIMG Marketing Man of the Year 2023. “Every accolade and every satisfied guest are a testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team.”
This year has been one of triumph and recognition for Labadi Beach Hotel. The hotel was honored with prestigious awards, including the CIMG Hospitality Facility of the Year 2023, Five-Star Hotel of the Year (both Regional and National) from the Ghana Tourism Authority, and Hospitality Company of the Year by Globe Productions. Each award celebrates the hotel’s dedication to creating memorable experiences for both local and international guests, affirming its place as a benchmark of luxury and service in Ghana and West Africa.
Professor Douglas Boateng, Board Chairman of Labadi Beach Hotel, commended the hotel’s strategic vision and governance. “Strong corporate governance, minimal interference from the sole shareholder SSNIT coupled with a commitment to quality, has been the foundation of Labadi Beach Hotel’s achievements,” said Professor Boateng. “This milestone is a testament to what can be accomplished when an organization is guided by excellence and sound governance principles.”
