Kwasi Nyantakyi wins CAF Executive Committee post

Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi has been elected unto the Confederation of Africa Football Executive Committee. Nyantakyi is reported to have polled 34 votes to win from a close competitor, Anjorin Moucharaf, president of the Beninois FA. Sports journalist Yaw Ampofo Ankrah who is in Sudan where the poll was held reports the result put the Ghana FA President in poll position to become Vice-President of the continental football body, Caf. Mr Nyantakyi, according to Yaw, was emotional after the declaration of the results.
