Norway-born Goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey is set to earn his debut after being listed alongside first choice Richard Kingson.
The 23-year-old had his nationality status confirmed by Fifa two months ago
Ghana youth midfielder Rabiu Mohammed who was recommended by assistant coach Akwasi Appiah has earned his debut senior team call-up.
The Evian Thonon-Gaillard player is expected to replace injured Chelsea ace Michael Essien.
Left-back Nana Akwesi Asare of Dutch side FC Utrecht has been handed another opportunity by the Serb to seal a permanent place in the team.
AC Milan ace Kevin-Prince Boateng has however been dropped.
FC Dnipro new signing Derek Boateng has also been left out of the squad to allow him to settle down at his new club.
Ghana face the Super Eagles at the Vicarage Road Stadium in a warm-up game to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland at home in September.
