Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has been named in Maximilliano Allegri’s squad for tonight’s Serie A encounter against Lazio.
The left footed utility man has been out of action since October after suffering injury in the Bianconneri’s 2-0 win over Atalanta.
Asamoah has had to battle injury in the last 12 months after suffering a career threatening knee injury which saw him miss a vast majority of the 2014/2015 European season.
This news will come in handy for Black Stars coach who had earlier this week lauded the qualities of Kwadwo Asamoah.
The former Udinese man is yet to play under the Israeli and missed Ghana’s fine run at the AFCON which saw the Black Stars lose narrowly on penalties to Ivory Coast.
Asamoah will not be expected to start this game as Allegri will ease him in gently in his bid to regain full fitness.
