Chairman of the MTN FA Cup committee Kurt Okraku has debunked claims he has tipped Premier league side Bechem United to win this year’s edition of the competition.
The Bechem side are set to face Okwahu on August 30 in Cape Coast after seeing off Wa Rockets in the semifinals.
For Okraku, he has no rights to declare favouites in his capacity.
“I have never said it anywhere that Bechem United should win the cup.”
“It not proper for any journalist to say that because I have never said that and if anybody has any evidence that person should bring it out because it is a false reportage.”
“As the chairman of the MTN FA Cup competition, I don’t have that right to tip anybody to win the competition because I think both teams deserves to be in the ground finale.” Kurt to Asempa Sports.
This will be the first final at the newly built stadium.
