Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is back in the AC Milan squad to face Chievo Verona on Sunday afternoon.
Boateng has been out of action for several weeks with a recurring groin problem and is an important boost for the Serie A leaders.
His services are needed considering Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini, Marek Jankulovski and Gianluca Zambrotta are absent.
Goalkeeper Abbiati returns for his first match since suffering concussion in Tuesday’s Champions League loss to Tottenham.
Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Paleari, Abate, Antonini, Nesta, Oddo, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Yepes, Boateng, Emanuelson, Flamini, Gattuso, Merkel, Seedorf, Van Bommel, Cassano, Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho.
