Kumasi Asante Kotoko were given a new lease of life after they chalked their fifth win of the season courtesy goals from Prince Boateng and Jordan Opoku.
The porcupine warriors scored the goals at either side of the halves moving them out of the relegation zone.
While the Fabulous lads saw a turn around in their fortune, Accra Hearts of Oak continued their unstable performance in the league falling to two goals to one to Real Tamale United at the Tamale Sports stadium.
