Hearts also managed a one goal victory over Kessben FC, their first win since the beginning of the season.
At the Kpando Park, Hearts of Lions beat New Edubiase 2 – 1 to move up the league table.
With this result, Lions will occupy second spot on the league table with six points following Ashgold who are league leaders with seven points.
In other centres, RTU beat Aduana Stars one goal to nil, Wise 2 Olympics 1, Berekum Arsenals 1 Wa All Stars nil, Bechem Chelsea 1 Liberty nil.
At the Baba Yara Stadium, King Faisal beat Hassacas 2 – 1.
