Kotoko Lock Horns With Faisal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and King Faisal will renew their rivalry today when they clash in the top fixture of local derbies lined up to celebrate Ghana’s 50th independence anniversary. Faisal had nothing to cheer about in any of their clashes with Kotoko in the league and therefore see this as an opportunity to beat their city rivals. At the Swedru stadium, in-form Accra Great Olympics will play as guests of Gamba All Blacks in another nerve-wracking encounter. Down in the national middle league, Olympics had the upperhand over them but were stunned by the Swedru lads in their first round league encounter. The ‘AGOSU’ lads avenged the defeat in the second round league match and both sides would certainly be out to win the encounter to prove their superiority over the other. Power FC will be at the Ho stadium to play Real Sportive while Real Tamale United (RTU) engages division one side, Lepo Stars at the Kaladan Park in Tamale. At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Tano Bofoakwa and B.A. United will renew hostilities with a similar battle at the Robert Mensah stadium where Vernomous Vipers battle ‘Ebusua’ Dwarfs. Sekondi Hasaacas and Eleven Wise will sort things out at the Gyandu Park, Heart of Lions welcome Home Stars to the Kpando Park with Catholic Stars playing Upper Stars at the Bolgatanga Stadium. At Tarkwa, Gold Stars will take on Mine Stars, Berekum Arsenal will sort things out with division one side, Chelsea while Okwawu United engages Kessben at the Nkawkaw Park. Times
