Crocked Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah could make a shock return to the Ghana Premier League earlier than expected.
Doctors have reportedly given the green light to the left-back to start light training and if all goes well he could even feature in first round of the current season.
Baah sustained a broken shin in Kotoko’s match against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak six months ago at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
He was ruled out of action for eight months but reports say he is responding positively to treatment.
