Former Asante Kotoko defender George Asare has told Joy Sports he wants to become a top-notch administrator of the sports after an ankle injury ended his career.
The 25-year-old University of Ghana graduate was installed team manager after failing to win the fitness battle he picked up last season.
George Asare believes his level of education and experience as a professional player will make him an astute football administrator.
In addition to that he said he is still willing to learn to achieve his goals.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of a one-year sponsorship deal with PVC Pipe Manufacturers, Interplast.
The deal, worth 100,000 Ghana cedis is subject to renewal after it expires next year.
Interplast has also pledged to present the Porcupine Warriors with a reward package of 60,000 Ghana cedis if they win this season’s Ghana Premier League.
This the second sponsorship deal struck by the K.K. Sarpong-led administration since its inception in June.
Former Ghana Football Association Vice-chairman and now board member of the club, Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah said the current management team deserves some commendation.
“We believe the players are also going to respond to the kindness that has been shown by our sponsors and do all of us proud by winning their matches.
