The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has announced that it would suspend the admission of all emergency labour cases for five hours on Saturday, September 8.
A statement signed by Mr Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer, said the suspension from 0700 to 12 noon was to enable the Hospital to repair an electrical problem that had been detected at the labour ward of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department.
The Hospital has advised that all patients who would require emergency labour care to go to other hospitals and clinics in the Metropolis.
