The first-ever travel loyalty card in Ghana has been launched by Koppan Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Koppan Group.
The Card, the company disclosed, will be freely available to all clients and anyone who travels and confirms travel packages with Koppan Hospitality, starting January 2023.
Uncovering the benefits of the travel loyalty card, Head of Operations, Princella Asiedu said the card is already laden with 1000 points for old clients which is equivalent to US$100 which clients can use for hotels, airport transfers and visas.
“Anytime you travel on a tailor-made package by Koppan Hospitality, you automatically get 1000 points, and anytime you go on a group package, you get 500 points” she confirmed.
The travel loyalty Card, has two levels – the Basic and the Gold level. There are plans to soon include a platinum level.
The Gold level accrues a client 3000 points after every tailor-made package and 1500 points for every group package.
Mrs. Asiedu said benefits of the card is not limited to Koppan travel packages alone as the company has partnered with key companies, shops and service providers for discount on items and services for all holders of the card.
Koppan said points on its loyalty cards are transferable to two relatives or any two persons recommended by a client (Card holder).
These points, according to Mrs. Asiedu, expires after two years. It is imperative for holders of the card to use it within the stipulated duration in order to enjoy the benefits.
“We have 10 percent discount on our partner Eateries, Fashion and Beauty shops as well as 15 percent discount on our partner insurance companies. Our partner hotels and general merchandise shops also offer company exclusive discounts to all Koppan travel loyalty card holders” she noted.
For eateries, the Koppan Hospitality travel loyalty card is accepted at Hubba Café, Chops and Flava, with Koppan’s growing list of fashion and beauty partners comprising Caveman watches, Legend Bespoke, Royalty by Nanasei, Taag and Kency by Avo.
Insurance partners for the Card is Equity Health Insurance with Sogakope Beach Resort, Lancaster Hotel, Best Western Plus, Labadi Beach Hotel and Golden Crystal Hotel affiliating as hospitality partners.
The list of partners are expected to increase as Koppan Hospitality explained that bulk SMS will be sent to all card holders concerning updates on new affiliates as well as table-talkers on the premises of all partners and contacts for enquiries.
