The Nyansapo Dialogue Series, hosted by the Advancement and Alumni Relations Office of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has engaged and inspired fresh students with invaluable life lessons.
The Alumni who are renowned in their fields shared personal and professional expeditions with current students to bridge the gap between academia and real-world experiences.
This year's event aimed to re-echo the university’s commitment to fostering mentorship and networking among its community.

The student’ community of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) witnessed the inspiring session at the 2025 Nyansapo Dialogue Series.
The Series is a talk program with selected celebrated alumni of KNUST to interact with current university students.
This year’s event featured Recording Engineer and Record Producer, Zapp Mallet, former Deputy Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Diana Asonaba Dapaah and former Methodist Bishop, Rt. Rev. Prof. Osei Safo-Kantanka.
The event sets a platform to share the academic, social, religious and general experiences they had as students and to also answer questions.
The objective is to exchange ideas to inform a more responsible attitude towards the realization of KNUST's vision.

Director for the Directorate of Student Affairs, Professor Marian Asantewaa Nkansah, underscored the essence of the dialogue.
“To our freshmen and women, consider this gathering a privilege to engage first-hand with these distinguished personalities. I encourage you to listen attentively, ask questions, network, and make sure you leave here with a contact of a potential mentor.
“And to all of us here, just remember that our institution's true strength lies not in these buildings and edifices we have around, but in the relationships we build and the milieu we create for all to thrive,” she said.
The interactive sessions afforded students to ask questions, gaining practical advice on navigating their academic and future professional lives.
Rt. Rev. Prof. Osei Safo-Kantanka recounted his challenging school days and admonished students to embrace determination as key to overcoming challenges.
“You need to make a personal effort in academic and personal growth, using his experience with setting up his own experiments and research projects as an example.
“I think it was the determination that made me survive in my school days. We had to do all kinds of things. My encouragement to you is not to be lazy and hide behind others,” he said.
The Recording Engineer and Record Producer, Zapp Mallet admonished students to take advantage of technology trends and commit to updating themselves with information.
“There were hardships of accessing information before this digital era. And it's easy now with you guys. I nearly lost my admission due to recalcitrance. So a change in attitude can dramatically alter one's path to succeed or fail. I told myself that I only disbanded with me. Once I'm here, I'm not going anywhere,” he said.
